Senior ITSM Consultant Requirement

We are a small UK based Service Management consultancy specializing around the BMC product suite. We are expanding our team and are looking for the best in the business.
The Role
This is a consultant role engaging in projects with our customers across a wide range of industry sectors. Projects will be largely focused around BMC ITSM but a wider background and willingness to learn new skills is required. Our projects are typically UK based but we do have customers in Europe and the US so the ability to travel is a must.
What will you be doing?
- Running workshops, understanding customers needs and explaining the tools and processes to them in the way that is most appropriate to them and their business
- Defining processes around ITSM, documenting them and communicating them to customers
- Designing solutions with BMC Remedy ITSM and related products
- Installing/configuring/delivering BMC Remedy ITSM based solutions
- Driving continuous improvement internally and on customer projects
- Using your knowledge and experience to get the best from your customers and colleagues
- Taking ownership of tasks that are outside of your comfort zone and working with others to achieve success
- Setting expectations and repeatedly meeting or exceeding them
- Leading technical teams and discussions
- Liaising with external customer development/support teams

What are we looking for?
We are looking for an experienced consultant, who shares our values, to help us deliver high quality solutions to our customers and become an active member of our team.
You should have proven project experience in Service Management delivery around the BMC ITSM product suite and be able to demonstrate the ability to listen, analyse and capture information.
We work in an environment of discussion, collaboration and mutual support. You will be expected to actively contribute, helping us expand what we know and providing support and assistance for other team members.

Qualifications and experience
Required:
- ITIL Certified
- Proven experience on large projects with BMC ITSM suite
Nice to have:
- Proven experience in three or more ITIL process areas
- Programming experience
- Run Book Automation – BMC, iWave or Opalis
